Excited to announce a new comic strip RAW from Travis Mong! His panels are the perfect blend of slightly dark and witty. I’m pleased to welcome him and hope you’ll enjoy his work as much as I do.

ABOUT TRAVIS MONG:
I came to the city a little over ten years ago from a small town in PA (Wellsville) on a half scholarship to The School of Visual Arts. A fact that my parents did not like. They would’ve rather seen me go into a business or medical profession, or even work at the local factory for that matter. For a short time I took business courses, then went to school for pharmacology, to make my parents happy. Though I did well in both of these studies I wasn’t happy, and the “what if’s?” were eating away at me. (However I don’t want you to infer from this that they themselves went to college or worked at a white collar job.) I definitely had a blue collar upbringing. In many ways the simple upbringing and life was a happier one, in others it was stiffing and tortuous. The differences between city and country life is a fascinating and stunning contrast. But that is another story.
