The 22 Playlist #3 (Threefifty), August 31, 2012.

We’ve got a special playlist this week, curated by and dedicated to the sonorous sounds of Threefifty and friends. Threefifty is currently trying to raise money for their third album and today is the last day to donate! Although they’ve reached a goal of around $2200, they need more like $7000 to create something truly spectacular. They’ve called on friends who are stellar musicians to help build this playlist. Ranging from the building block strings of Redhooker, to the randomized perfection of Dither, to the stripped down tones of Runaway Dorothy, each of these bands is special not only musically but as avid supporters, friends, brothers, and lovers of Threefifty. This playlist is truly amazing, please take a listen and HELP SUPPORT!

Support this Project: Threefifty Duo.

Threefifty is the amazing guitar duo that made our first Volume shine and now they are getting to work on their 2nd album. Although they’ve already reached their written goal, their true need lies more in the $7000 dollar range, in order to hire musicians and technicians. The project ends in merely 4 days, but you’ll get a sneak peek of what’s in store this weekend when they curate the upcoming 22 playlist!

Help them make something beautiful, DONATE NOW!

Excited to see Volume 1 contributors Threefifty Duo putting together a showcase for this Thursday at Le Poisson Rouge! Music for 1, 2, 3, and 4 guitars centers around the idea of pushing the limits of classical instruments and includes a roster of impressive and dedicated craftsmen. I asked Geremy Schulick to take a moment to talk about the performers and what they bring to the show. Check it out this Thursday at Le Poission Rouge!
